Inniss received a grant from the University of Missouri Research Board for his work on pilot systems to improve water quality. As he observes, “it is nice to be able to leverage the research that I am able to support from the Research Board grant with other projects I’m working on or interested in."
As a new faculty member, I needed to prove some of the ideas I’ve pitched in order to get more funding, and the UMRB grant allowed me to do that.
