Finding Interest in Social Psychology

Originally a music major, Bartholow turned to social psychology after realizing his desire to learn “what makes people tick.” Recalling the beginning of his interest in the field, he remembers that he "became curious about why it is that people seem to behave somewhat differently in different situations—you can have the same person who in one situation seems very polite and put together, and in a different situation really lets it all hang out.
